STORY BEHIND THE SONG:
I wrote this song about a guy I was working with at the time. He was very cute, and I had developed a little crush on him.

I recorded a home demo of the song and was so excited about it that I had to play it for him. When he asked me, “When did you write this song?” I said something like, “Oh, I’ve been working on it for a long time, six months or so” (not exactly true, but I didn’t want him to know the song was about him while we were working together!).

I never did tell him.
