The legendary Bedford in Balham has justifiably earned a reputation for being one of the most important and critically acclaimed venues in the country. For artists such as James Morrison, Paolo Nutini, KT Tunstall and many more, The Bedford has played a pivotal role in their careers. The Finn Brothers, Pete Townshend, Willy Mason and a host of other well known acts have played secret or impromptu shows here and 4 nights a week, 50 weeks of the year, The Bedford is committed to throwing the spotlight on hundreds of new and upcoming performers.
With free entry, great food and a unique environment, The Bedford has created a place where everyone is welcome and there is a sense of real community.
Nearest tube - The nearest tube is Balham on the Northern Line. Balham is also a mainline station from Victoria. The Pub is 1 minutes walk from the station entrance. There are on street parking facilities and Sainsbury’s car park (opposite) is free all night after 6.00 pm
It is hard to specify when any act is performing exactly, but all artists will play their first set in the opening half between 9.00 & 9.50 pm and in the second half between 10.10 & 11.00
